Winter Carnival Events



Two very special events are going to be held at the Library this coming weekend.
Saturday January 30th at 1:00pm
The Barber of Seville Preview by the Boston Lyric Opera.
Experience a taste of opera with the Boston Lyric Opera. This 45 minute preview is appropriate for ages 5 and up. The program will introduce children (and parents) to this wonderful opera!!

Sunday January 31st at 2:00pm
Third annual Mystery Monday Tea.
Join us for a tea-riff-ic tea party! Event is open to all, including genteel children. Door prizes and other surprises!

Winter Programs are here!

Gaining Ground Wednesday Jan. 20th at 7:00pm Tarbell Room
Volunteers from Gaining Ground a Concord non-profit will be on hand to speak on their organic farming project that supplies over 20,000 pounds of produce to local area food pantries and free meal programs. Copies of their recently published book will be available for purchase depending on supplies. Come to an interesting evening and learn about neighbors helping neighbors.!

December 24th Library closing at 1:oo pm Christmas Eve
December 25th Library closed all day
December 26th Resume normal hours
December 31st Library will close at 5:00pm
January 1st 2010 Library closed all day
January 2nd Resume normal hours

Lincoln Library Write Stuff Public Reading

Support your local authors. December 14 at 7:00pm Five "write stuffers" will be reading from their works. Sure to be a great evening of local authorship!

Tanglewood Marionettes "The fairy circus"


Children of all ages are invited to attend Tanglewood Marionettes "The Fairy Circus"
Wednesday December 16 at 3:00pm. Hand-crafted marionettes will sing, juggle, fly through the air with the greatest of ease! This is a magical event for the holiday season. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Library. No sign up is required.
