December 24th Library closing at 1:oo pm Christmas Eve
December 25th Library closed all day
December 26th Resume normal hours
December 31st Library will close at 5:00pm
January 1st 2010 Library closed all day
January 2nd Resume normal hours

Lincoln Library Write Stuff Public Reading

Support your local authors. December 14 at 7:00pm Five "write stuffers" will be reading from their works. Sure to be a great evening of local authorship!

Tanglewood Marionettes "The fairy circus"

Children of all ages are invited to attend Tanglewood Marionettes "The Fairy Circus"
Wednesday December 16 at 3:00pm. Hand-crafted marionettes will sing, juggle, fly through the air with the greatest of ease! This is a magical event for the holiday season. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Library. No sign up is required.

Ahoy ! Wednesday November 18th 3:00pm

Join us for a fun filled program for all pirates! Walk the plank! Treasure hunt! Grub and grog!
For ages 5 and up. Sign up is necessary.
A swashbuckling time for all!!

Classic Jazz Wednesday November 18th 7:30pn

Join us for the another great evening of classic jazz. Hard to believe it's the 27th season of the program!. Tonight Gene Darling presents "Jazz night at the movies".

Abraham Lincoln comes to Lincoln

Well sort of -- Robb Dimmick is bringing his one man play to Bemis Hall on Sunday November 8 at 2:oopm. Based on writings and the personal reflections of the 16th President. In honor of President Lincoln's Bicentennial year The Friends of the Lincoln Council on Aging, Lincoln Historical Society and the Friends of the Lincoln Public Library are cosponsoring this event. Recommended for ages 5 and up, light refreshments will be served.
