Kindle?
Hi we're wondering if anyone has bought an Amazon Kindle? If so why did you? Do you like it? What features do you like or dislike? We'd just like to have some feedback on the Kindle. Thanks for all your imput.
I have a Kindle, and I love it! The text is so easy to read...just like paper. And it was easy to download books to it. I also like the ability to go right to the web to get more information about something I'm reading.
I found your blog because I was looking to see if any libraries are checking out Kindles. I think this would be a great way to promote more equitable access to great technology like this. (I work in education, and we use a variety of mobile devices this way with kids.)
Thanks Karen for your feedback and also your suggestion on libraries & kindles. I've forwarded your email to Barbara (the library director). I know that libraries are also looking at new technologies to provide access to information. It's amazing what's out there.
